Hexes, Curses, and Other Naughty Things I’ll Do To You
wet magic rosebud tongue
astral quake white hot sweat
shuddering thighs
cabinets of herbs and green jars
tarot cards that tell me how we’re meant to be
sprinkle blueberry leaves and scoops
of anthills
I will touch you
with my subconscious,
my mermaid,
snakes entwined
boudoir, a fortress,
able fingers, fatal,
dig a hole ignite candles
little spells dried bones
nails that puncture
sea salt that tastes like her
embroidery thread that needles through corpse eyelashes
phantom crystals lavender
clove thyme a tuft of fur from your childhood pet
chamomile flowers
insatiate your enemies
taste the divination of you
you: my root
